Rodney Densem Wines is an Aladdin's Cave for wine and Champagne lovers, not to mention connoisseurs of whiskey, gin, rum and all other tipples.

Throughout lockdown, RDW have been running a delivery service and they are now looking forward to welcoming their customers old and new into the shop on Pillory Street.

Clare talks about their social distancing procedures and opening times and tells us about some of the events we have missed out on due to Covid, but can look forward to in the future.

Liz Parkin lives in Nantwich, a floral market town in Cheshire and her first choice wherever possible is to buy gifts, clothes, home ware and food from the diverse range of local independent traders.

Trying to keep the household food-miles down, Liz tries to source as much as possible from local farmers and food producers, even dabbling in her own small veggie patch and two laying ducks called Doris and Daphne.

The podcast is featured on a Facebook group called Local not Global and on the whole, most contributors are within 30 miles of Nantwich.
